The shaker is controlled by a RMS controller (type SWR 900) and a dedicated software.
We have at our disposal a powerful LMS SCADAS III front-end plus a LMS TEST.LAB software on a laptop. The LMS system can accept 8 channels.
The control loop is closed by a PCB ICP accelerometer integrated in the shaker or with transducers directly placed on the slip table, on the head expander or the support of the test object.
For the measures on the test structure we use mostly PCB ICP® accelerometers and we also have a single point laser vibrometer (POLYTEC).
The pilot software offers several possibilities for the vibration testing :
