Since September 2000 the LDMS is able to combine vibration and temperature environmental testing in the vertical direction.

The hardware consists of a computer controlled climatic chamber (SAPRATIN Type 1000T 60/3 VIB) .

In a space of approximatively 1 m³ (1m * 1m * 1m) the test object can be subjected to vibrations in a temperature range going from   -60° C to + 150°C with a precision of 0.3° C.

The temperature can be hold at a constant value or can fluctuate at a mean rate of 2°C/Min and is regulated by the software SPIRALE.
